Automation Engineer

About the position

For our office in Denmark or Germany, we are looking for two Automation Engineers

We are looking for you, a committed and skilled Automation Engineer who is flexible, willing to travel for service on our vessels and ready for a new challenge, someone who has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Automation projects and commissioning skills.


The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

  • SCADA/PLC programming (WinCC, Step 7/Tia portal, GPproEx)
  • High level language programming (C, VB, SQL)
  • PC Installation and network configuration
  • Installation and commissioning of automation systems
  • Knowledge of electrical and control system design
  • Basic AutoCAD knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering
  • Good written and spoken language skills in English

  • Ambitious in the development of new technologies & eager to learn

  • Your activities include:
  • Development/enhancement of HMI/SCADA and PLC software
  • Commissioning and service of control systems and instrumentation on our vessels either remotely or on board
  • Preparation of descriptions, IO lists and other documents for control systems
  • Coordination and supervision of contract partners/sub-suppliers for control systems onboard
