Location: Australia and New Zealand
Vessel: Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) with Main Engine up to 1500 kW

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and industrious Integrated Rating (II/5, III/5) to join our trailing suction hopper dredger vessel operating in Australia and New Zealand. The Integrated Rating (Able Seafarer Deck/Engine) is a versatile crew member responsible for carrying out a range of duties to support the vessel's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with loading/unloading dredged material.
  • Maintain and clean the dredge deck and equipment.
  • Handle mooring ropes and help with docking.
  • Support routine engine room checks and maintenance.
  • Assist with machinery operation and minor repairs.
  • Monitor and maintain fuel and oil supplies.
  • Stand deck or engine room watch as required.
  • Monitor equipment and report irregularities.
  • Participate in safety drills and emergency training.
  • Ensure safety equipment is operational.
  • Respond to emergencies like firefighting and first aid.
  • Assist with handling dredging equipment.
  • Support monitoring and adjusting dredging parameters.
  • Adhere to environmental protection guidelines.
  • Properly handle waste materials.
  • Assist other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Proficiency:
    • II/5, III/5 – Integrated Rating, Able Seafarer – Deck, Able Seafarer – Engine
