Designing, planning and constructing the new fairway to Vordingborg
The project comprised the detailed design, planning and construction of the new fairway to Vordingborg.
The works contained capital dredging of the new fairway to Vordingborg, including design and construction of light beacons on shore, in seabed, and 25 beacons along the dredged channel.
For the project, Rohde Nielsen was deploying a bucket ladder dredger, three barges and the tug, Sleipner R, for installation of navigation aids.
