Deepening and widening the entrance channel and port of Tauranga

The project contained the deepening and widening of the entrance channel and inner harbour in port of Tauranga.

The 5,300,000 m3 of dredged material were disposed at a designated spoil ground. The works were carried out by Balder R, Brage R and Gungner R, supported by Skinfaxe R and towed barges.

Furthermore, a full multibeam survey setup was mobilized to ensure high quality monitoring of the works.
